What I Learned At Elementary School Today

Rice Crispy Square Cereal

Doing the breakfast program every week at the local elementary is always rewarding. Today I got to teach 20 kids about Vitamin A, and which foods to find it in. We ended up talking about carrots for a while.

One of the kids said "Carrots are good for your eyes!" and then picked up a carrot and pretended to jab it in her eye. Everyone laughed! It was a riot!!

Another student, when she came to pick through the breakfast options said, "I wish there was a rice crispy square cereal." and I responded... "Your wish is granted".

Obviously, I will work with foods such as Quinoa and Amaranth puffs instead of pure-carb rice puffs. This will be a fun little mission! I'll keep this post updated with my progress.
